after struggling to setup my 5870 as a gpu miner i wanted to make a automated setup would maker it easier for others.
this will only work for windows 7 and vista

be for we start you need to download a few things.
      1. the bit coin client http://www.bitcoin.org/ get the .zip version
      2. the gpu miner http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1334.0 thanks to m0mchil for developing this
      3. the scrips that will do all the work http://www.mediafire.com/?c2f4wmfy5fr9a1q
      4. if you have an amd gpu download and install http://developer.amd.com/gpu/AMDAPPSDK/Pages/default.aspx#five

next you need to extract the bitcoin zip file to the root of your c drive.
then extract gpu.zip to your desktop.
right click on setup.bat and select edit. where it says  mkdir C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin replace [username] your user name then save and run the script
after you run it you will see a folder open with a file called bitcoin.conf
right click on it open it with notepad enter rpcuser=youruser  rpcpassword=yourpw the username and pasword you enter can be anything
then save it.

then right click on gpu.bat and select edit. enter the your user name and password you put in the .conf file --user=username --pass=password
also if you have an amd cpu change --device=0 the --device=1
save the file and run it.
the gpu should then start mining.

if the command prompt asks you for a user name enter the user name in the .conf file, but when it asks for a password just hit enter without entering anything.
