The foundation of Infinitecoin is being consolidated, and it can surpass Dogecoin.

No.125 2021-5-10  Decentralized Miner Training Program

Infinitecoin Core v0.10.4.1 Major upgrade, faster synchronization
https://github.com/infinitecoin-project/infinitecoin/releases

On February 23, 2021, it was said that the former community leader TECSHARE had passed away 6 months ago!
I don't want this to be true. TECSHARE is a very principled and honest person. I hope he is still alive.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5319417.0

Has gained control of infinitecoin.com The website is under construction
Thank you very much TECSHARE

If you have to use the 1.8.8 version to synchronize the blocks, then after the synchronization to 5844068, You can no longer sync。
The system may prompt you that you may need to upgrade the version, but usually you did not receive the prompt.
You can use version 0.6.8.1 to run the client alternately to solve
why? You can go to see what happens to the block explorer height 5844069? In addition to 5844069, there are 5951009 to 5951013 consecutive 5 blocks, etc.

If you use a different version of the wallet and the mining pool
Mismatched transaction fees lead to card transactions. Do n’t worry. Contact me to switch the mining pool version.

Transfer on the chain began to be a little active. It seems feasible to rely on the internal circulation mode of mining by handling charges. Moreover, more and more people rely on the use of infinitcoin, and the foundation is getting better and better. Transfer on the chain will be more frequent, and the benefit of handling charges will be higher.

The utilization rate of infinitecoin wallet has reached 1.14 million, which is a very high number, and the transaction on the chain is active.

I have a GPU standing here and I was thinking about mining some IFCs, but apparently it's no longer valid. The price is still not that high according to the potential of IFC and even then the difficulty for mining is already high. I will be obliged to mining other coins to sell and buy IFC and await an appreciation in the future.

Hey all, I dug out my 8 years old IFC. Apparently, it went up 1200% since then. I grabbed version 1.8.8 of the wallet, which takes a really long time to sync, in fact, it stayed at about 50% for a few days and even backtracked a little, and still not done. I don't know, it's acting strange. So, I tried the latest client version (0.10.4.1), which doesn't show my restored wallet and has corrupted the data of version 1.8.8. SOL. Any ideas why the latest wallet won't show my restored wallet and pending coins?

Edit: I got in with the folks on Telegram and it seems version 1.8.8 will never finish syncing, because some blocks are corrupted in a way that prevents this version from syncing, hence why it kept on backtracking.

The recovery and backup is just to recover the address of the wallet. You can check whether there is a coin in your address in the block browser. The default block of version 1.8.8 block is on disk C. If you run 0.10, it will also be loaded on Disk C, then the 0.6 core block must be damaged, but there is no problem with the backup file!

If the backup file you restore is the restored address, remember this
Your coin is in the address, not in a certain wallet version
You can wait for the latest block to be synchronized (it takes about 24 hours)
Or you can also use the block explorer to check according to the address

About wallet mining (CPU mining)
Assuming your computer CPU has 4 cores and 8 threads, then console input.

#Start mining
setgenerate true 8

#Query mining information
getmininginfo

#Stop mining
setgenerate false
No one will use the CPU and GPU to mine the cryptocurrency of the Scrypt algorithm. It is now 2021.

Thanks, guys. I edited my OP with a resolution I got from IFC Telegram. I currently have the latest version of the wallet syncing and although I can't see my pending coins yet, it does display the send and receive history, so I think it's ok. I'll let it sync with the hope it'll resolve on its own.
