To reach $1? With the supply of 88,226,595,341 IFC, you would need a market cap of over 88 Billion, have fun trying to achieve that.

With a Global Economy roughly at 470 Trillion I see IFC reaching 1USD a piece very feasible. Especially when you have a cryptocurrency which is a verifiable fund.

People are obsessed with market cap because it's actually a useful metric as opposed to the price of an unit.

For example suppose I have a crypto with 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 coins, by the logic in the this thread if it's almost as good as bitcoin it could reach a price of 1c per coin??

NO!!, that's ridiculous, that would mean that all the coins together would be worth $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000!

I mean it is technically possible for IFC to reach $1 per coin, but for that to happen tens of trillions of dollars would have to be pumped into crypto currencies and every other coin would be about $10 - $10000 each, because just about every other crypto has less coins than IFC so each coin is worth more.

This is why everybody uses market cap for comparisons.

Current price of IFC: 0.00004194; to reach 1$ it has to multiply 23,843.58607534573 times.
BTC was about 0.01$ and now it reached about 1200$; MULTIPLED 120,000 times!

So quite clearly you don't need trillions of dollars to be pumped in!
And to reach 1$, IFC has to rise 5 times less than what BTC had to, to reach 1200$

Not sure if you're trolling or just stupid. You can buy stuff in real world with Bitcoin, it has huge publicity, even my neighbors keep asking about it. What does IFC have to offer to be worth 8x more than BTC?

A more natural number scaling for human psychology. That is very important. For example a lot of germans stil "think" in D-Mark than in "Euro", especially the older people 30+....

Exactly!!! just imagine paying 0.04984564 btc for a tablet or like 200 IFC!

+1

In the near future bitcoin wont be used for daily trade. I believe due its value going to be just like diamond. As been mentioned above ppl don't like silly numbers therefore we gonna need IFC to be there. Wink

While IFC has good possibilities to become a very usable crypto, BTC indeed is looking always more, and it's mostly that atm, as an investment asset.

Current market cap is 6.5 mil from a total crypto market of about 10 billion. 0,065%.
If it is to be 888billion the total crypto would be 1366trillion. Obviously it could rise but a a percentage of crypto, it seems very unlikely $1 will be reached.
Market cap is all that matters, the per coin price is irrelevant. Look at penny stocks that dilute there shares time and time again.

Dogecoin has become the new Infinitecoin. Seen a few people saying if only dogecoin can become worth a dollar etc...

LOL. Dogecoin  and Infinitecoin will both NEVER hit $1.
If i would choose one of the cheaper coins to hit $1, I would guess Earthcoin.
But good luck on getting there.

You posted that approx. 1 month ago.

New situation:

Current market cap for IFC is $10,086,993 and the total crypto market cap is $8,824,261,901

Amazing, huh?

IFC gains power but most people don't even see it. That's good for those who buy without making a hype.
