Went ahead and jumped on BossCoin in the alternate cryptos when someone asked cryptsy if they'd support it in the IRC chat.

Been mining for a couple of hours now, I think.

Yeah, yeah, I know.

I mostly just wanted to post to ask the reasoning why the pool equates value of 1 BSS to 1 LTC. That's so silly.

A lot of scrypt ALTs do the same thing -- they're shooting for a 'what if' my coin got wide acceptance like LTC at some point in the future?  Well, it's good that you're mining -- talks are underway to get the Chinese involved in BossCoin -- they love the name! Who knows?  Perhaps it will be worth more than the recent quirks or colossuses Smiley
