First of all you are lucky guy if you have so much money. I think that better option to byu NEO. I think it is good coin for your protfolio. NEO is undervalued vs Ethereum and have the good potential.

I think this is a really big amount to buy just one coin. According to my opinion, this amount can be shared in neo, ethereum and IOTA as equal or different percentages. |

You can peep ideas, from cryptocurrency indexes, like ICEX or another indexes. Most of them, just take first 10-20-30 by capitalization, but you can look at the proportion they take.

That is a big amount of money, you can diversify your investment just to make sure you can make most out of it. Putting all your eggs in one basket is a risky move. Never listen to anyone's opinion because that is your money, if you lose your money there's no one to blame but you, that is why you should make your own investment decision. |

A part of me wants to say Axpire (preferably on kucoin) to wipe out all the sell orders and give me a great quick sale BUT.....it all depends what you want. If you want slow, reliable but not incredible growth then id go for something more established like ethereum or neo. You will likely get good gains from these however, if you want higher returns then you will want something with a much lower market cap and total supply such as Blockport or Hacken. The trick with these is setting yourself a target and getting out when you hit it.
Those are not reccomendations, just suggestions, but if i had 10k to put into alts i would 100percent be splitting it between 5 coins at least. Just to be that little bit safer.

I would spend that money on courses and literature not to ask such questions. And to be honest, I think you have already collected a standard portfolio, and this amount can be used for day trading small altcoins. |

I have a similar trouble now. I am holding etherium with a profit and I expect that market is going to growth further so I think to increase my investment amount. While I think to re-buy some more etherium.

Great that you have such value in your portfolio. What do you think about the exit of Charlie Lee to litecoin to make it even more decentralized? It has been constant as everyone is recovering from the past bloody market that happened. I would spend that money on courses and literature not to ask such questions. Good idea of investing to knowledge by enrolling yourself to different courses but I'm sure that amount ($10,000) is still more than the said course/s. |

What about EOS or DASH? I have heard they are considered to be very promising. My friend is also talking all the time about Litecoin, it is almost as old as Bitcoin, so I think it can be trusted |

for now BTC prices are rising and altcoin prices have decreased may be the right time for now to buy altcoin because later will also pump, and at this moment all the coins have a correction in because of the slide BTC price so the right time right now for spending altcoin may be worth XLM to buy.

You already have a substantial investment in cryptocurrencies. With the additional $10,000, you can afford to take a little bit higher risk. Think of coins outside the top 100 in terms of market capitalization. They have the potential to multiply in value. Monaco and Iconomi are a couple of coins which readily spring to mind. |

Try to do your own research start with the top 100 coins in the coinmarketcap,so that you will know which of these coins are worthy investments,asking random joe for your investments isnt a good move,you could love everything if someone has suggested shitcoin and you have invested,good investors find his down potential investments, |

I think NEO is definitely undervalued, it was around $230 before crashing well below $100. It hasn't recovered as fast as some of the other major cryptocurrencies. So it's definitely due for a price explosion soon. Once NeoFS and NeoBrowser will be world changing, and will lead to a huge spike in price once implemented.

You are on a right track investing the top major coins in a coinmarketcap list which is bitcoin and ethereum. And in addition for your 10K $ budget for altcoin i may suggest you to invest in XYO although this coin are currently develope in a blockchain but once it will launch in a market it will promisingly earned huge profit due to its known coordinates to the digital economy.
