Megaupload, fileserve, rapidshare, filesonic?

I'm just thinking it would be awesome for the community if we could find someone with any type of contacts at these companies to start accepting bitcoin for their monthly fees. If anyone has any contacts with these companies please let me know. I'd be willing to pay for their senior management to attend the bitcoin conference bruce is having.

Uploaded.to accepts bitcoins as of last month. They're a pretty big player, up there with Filesonic, though not as large as Rapidshare or Megaupload.

If we could somehow get these guys on board and interface with bitpay I can really see this as being a HUGE boost to the economy.

the only way to contact rapidshare is by sending a email ??

probaly if they do not answer then they are just not intrested

and that seems kinda normal to me that they are not that mutch intrested in it as it is hard to verifie the transactions and to link to a automatic system for payments with the up and downs it got all the time

if you are looking for a upload site then i can offer you http://boosterking.com as it accepts bitcoin

but for rapidshare it would be hard to get that done , it would still be nice if it can be done Cheesy

so my suggestion , send them a email and see what they do

actually - if these will accept btc for monthly fee, and pay out using btc... that will help generate fluidity in btc for regular users... though i'm not sure if these companies will generate e-wallets for users and etcetc.. but otherwise it's a very very good idea

I have an inside contact with MegaUpload and am selling their lifetime premium accounts at a discounted rate with Bitcoins as a third party. If anyone is interested in one (or more of these) feel free to PM or email me. Smiley I've already had two successful transactions and the customers seem has as they can be.
