Quark coins? Getting Blocks Like Infinite Coins?

So the other day I figured I'd mine some IFC and i started getting new blocks every time it would report my current hash-rate, well It's doing the same, does that mean I'll get paid the same? How much are quark coins to USD right now?
I'm kinda a newbie at this, so bear with me please. 
Also, quick question of the board rules, am I allowed to use my referral link for say, cryptsy? As in post it, or advertise my youtube channel?(not big just telling people I'll have videos up)
