That is right. I am not so sure about 50 years as we can not predict the timings in the crypto market. This might even be possible in 5 years if we witness jumps in prices like we had in 2017. However the $15000 value looks a bit more over estimated and what I know from the experts around is that ETH will cross around $2000 this year. Others a bit more optimistic about prices.

I don't think it will reach such a high price. Although Ethereum is very good, many new cryptocurrencies are now absorbing market funds. I don't think the current market has so much money to support Ethereum

I sincerely don't expect much price rise today, rest of the year will likely go in reconciliation and stabilization. Maybe towards the end of year it will rise but definitely not at the levels you are talking about!

Well that price target is looking more and more like hopium. i Mean we are closer to a 10$ then 15k. even assuming that POS could be launched by 2019 i dont think this could trigger a run to 15k perhaps back to 2-3k at most, and even this is assuming a general recovery of the entire crypto market

Everything is possible in crypto world for Ethereum to reach $15,000, it would have to grow about 30x its current price as you know that eth this go up more tha x40 .

Your price prediction seems way too unrealistic in my opinion and it seems like the poster  is over optimistic about Ethereum. I am a fan of Ethereum myself and I am HODLING a small bags of ETH at the moment for long term profits. I believe Ethereum has the potential to reach $2000 quite easily by the end of this year if the market continues the upward movement.

The truth is always somewhere in the middle. Even when there's a glimmer of hope people then to get too excited. Maybe 3 or 4k would be realistic and that too at the upper end. Having said that, fear can exaggerate things too and people say it could go to 0$ which is as unlikely as it going to 15000.

Maybe ethereum will be worth $1500 by the last quarter of this year or after the market will recover. This is some of the prediction here in this forum.

For me, ethereum has a chance to become #1 cryptocurrency but not this year. I heard some issues about their platform and wallet that some get hacked in erherwallet by this it will be hard for ethereum to compete to bitcoin.

I think it's unlikely that the etherium will reach $ 15,000 this year, as this is a very strong gain and rather it's the bitkoin price this year, the etherium is still far away. I believe that this is the prospect of several years ahead. In a few years, perhaps, etherium will reach this mark

Even though the crypto currency is very unpredictable, I will never believe in such a forecast. It seems to me that Eth can reach a maximum of 1500-2000 dollars this year.

Actually hoping ethereum reach such level about 15000$, it's just too much for ethereum. Don't expect in the high level so that it seems unrealistic. Be real, and predict little by little raising. We can expect for 2000$ first. Then if ethereum can do it, we can rise our expectation about 4000$ and so on.

I think it can not happen. Because in order for ETH to achieve that price, it must have a tremendous value and market capitalization must increase dramatically.
Given the current market situation, we see only mild growth and there is no sign of pumping in 2018. So I do not agree with your opinion.

I very much doubt that such a price is achievable for Ethereum, maybe 1000 - 1800 it will be able to achieve but no more, it is heavily repressed by other more promising blockchain platforms.

That's is too much speculation based from what is happening right now. ETH is facing hard time to increased its value and everyone is still hoping to have a sudden pump which it turns out to be in an opposite direction. And recently, ETH transaction fee is getting high and many of the users are wondering why it is happening.

I also really believe and pout that Ethereum by the end of 2018 will cost 10 000 - 15 000 dollars. But for this to happen, we all need to create a positive image of Ethereum.
