No, it will not happen. The author of the thread was interested if Ethereum could reach 15 thousand this year. A strange question as for me. It might grow but not to this crazy sum of money, and not in 2018.

I don't think that will happen because the 15k is too high at the end of this year. Ethereum is the best altcoin, but the market conditions this year are not very good, and the possibility of ethereum prices at the end of this year is 1k.

In my portfolio there are several Ethereum ,based on the last year when the rate was 1200$,by the end of this year it should come closer to this mark as a minimum,and also with the reduction of payments for mining, it should rise in price.

Yes, there is a big possibility that ETH value will rise this year maybe up to $800 and making it $1500 is impossible with reference for the gap of months remaining but who knows? crypto is volatile and one day its value will surprise us all that is why I hold always my ETH  for someday this will give me a lot of profits as believe that patience is the best virtue to make us profitable.

It is quite impossible that ethereum reaches 1 500 dollars this year. It is nearly impossible I would say. It won't happen. End of this year is too near and the market isn't in a position to act in that way. Maybe in 2019. It will be better next year.

I think hitting 15000$ by the end of this year is too optimistic. We need to have tripple new inwestors for this prodiction. I think we will hit about 2000$, not more. But I hope that I am wrong and you are right. This scenario would be much interesting

It may take another 2 years to reach the $1500, it may go even higher. Crypto market is very volatile and slowly people are realising the potential of crypto. More people attracts to crypto, more investment will be flown and hence price will raise.

This year is almost ending with few months left before next year so i guess it is impossible to happen now specially when this Ethereum price is currently at below $300.
