Well... not the time of bitcoin, as it seams. This is the time for gold to become a bubble, reaching now 1.700 USD/oz.

In these times of fiat failure everything one can grab to avoid it just turns to bubbles quite easily. Btc will kick of again, but probably the next bubble will be silver after this one on gold blasts.

There's no bubble in gold. Charts are nicely controlled by the big boys. JPM said 2500 in 6 months, everyone else will agree and they will run it up no problem.

LOL! Like if you can "show" anybody a bubble BEFORE it blasts. This is like guys telling and betting when BTC would reach 50 USD back when it was raising to 30...
If things manage to settle in the fiat currencies side, I can show you the gold bubble tomorrow, if it takes more a few months, will be then... either way expect losses on gold pretty soon.

Gold is not in a bubble like Silver was up to its April high.

However, Gold will still experience a major correction down into the 1000-1400 are, and possibly into the 680-800 zone.

The only thing in a bubble is fiat dollars.

As long as you take "fiat dollars" as your primary currency, your statement is either wishful thinking or plain bull. After all the "overpricing" of gold is actually measurable in those "fiat dollars", just like the overpricing of bitcoin about 1 month ago.

Price real money (gold) in fiat dollars at your peril. All fiat currencies go to their intrinsic value of zero. Always.

Agreed, but gold and silver have been money for over 6000 years. That's good enough for me. When fiat currencies fail, it's back to gold and silver. Until governments tell the people they have something better (fiat). Then the whole cycle repeats itself. Over and over.

I think that misses the point on the "fiat failure" (Which I agree too, however it's input to your at the point of a gun so far), it's failure derives from not be a currency generated by wealth but by debit. Like if the ability to get credit was more important than the wealth generated... reason why US, Ireland, Portugal, Greece, Spain and Italy are in their current situation.

Gold is going to $2,000+, mostly due to the actions of the Federal Reserve.

I believe people were calling it a 'bubble' around $1,000 an ounce, lol.

People was calling BTC a bubble @ 15, was calling it a bubble at 20, was calling it a bubble at 30... then it blasted. It didn't made those people wrong.
Gold is in the same path, sooner or later will blast, for those lucky enough to jump on its peak will be good, for those entering or holding there will be a nightmare.

So you think people should sell their gold for quickly depreciating fiat slave tickets when the time is right?

It's pretty pointless for me to talk about this with you, because I can clearly see you don't see things the way they are.

Super short explanation.. BTC at 15 was overbought  and it was bubble in the making. Gold is trending right on its technicals, which you can see on the chart I linked. Gold is hyped by millions upon millions as a protection against inflation. Its easy to buy/sell and free to store. It doesn't take much space to store 1 mill worth of gold. Big boys play a big role about its future price, they will ultimately decide when enough is enough.

Of course gold price will eventually top and then selloff and people like you will laugh and write pages that you knew this all along. But if someone who invests in gold has an average price of $1000 and price tops at $2500 then crashes and drops to $1900, where this poor soul finally sells his position, he/she still made 90% profit. Making profit is the name of the game. Every monkey can predict that everything that ever went up will eventually top and then go lower. Timing is everything and timing is what you missing.

How can gold be a bubble against the dollar? It's fiat paper , redeemable in nothing. The difference between a $1 and $100 bill is the configuration of ink on the paper.

Gold still has a bit to go before it hits its previous high of about $850 USD/oz back in 1980.  Inflation adjusted to 2011, that's $2,329 USD/oz...

Depending on what the U.S. Feds do or don't do... JP Morgan might be right about the $2,500 USD/oz by years' end prediction.

Cheers,

Gold is highly dependent on many things, including India, backing reserves and stability of other stores of value.

In the past two years, all those were good for gold. If it runs into a buying mania phase now, and one of the indicators turns around... expect a crash.

Gold is not in a bubble like Silver was up to its April high.

However, Gold will still experience a major correction down into the 1000-1400 area, and possibly into the 680-800 zone.

Hi. What kinda timeframe are you looking at?

1300-1400 within the next 6 months, 1000 within the next 1.5 years.
