Well, at least it is surely the safest investment, since one is very likely to see bitcoin reaching its ATH and that would be a 2x profit if one invests now. Other coins might eventually bring higher profits, but there's more risk involved. For instance, ripple is about 3x down from its top, but we can't be sure whether it climbs that high again, since it is centralized. Stratis is also almost 3x down, but the project isn't very successful. Ethereum is 2x down and also rather stable, but as mining is not profitable now, it might take long till eth recovers.
