I have looked alot on the forum, to see if i could find any posts or pictures that confirm https://advancedminers.com/ is real.
But without luck.

Searching on the internet brings me several sites that warns about them, like ripoffreport, and scamadviser


My first thought was to ask in the bitcoin mining hardware section, but since i had to made a new user after i forgot the name of my old. Im only allowed to post here.

I triede searching the forum about the company, but the search was inclusive.
People talking about how close it is to their work and all, but no confirmation that its real.

I decided to make an order on the 80 gh/s machine, since if it was a scam, i wouldnt loose too many money, chose to pay with Credit Card. But that part never came.

Got an email with an order verification:

"Your order has been received and is now being processed. Your order details are shown below for your reference;"

With all the things i typed in, and shipping cost.

2 days later, i get an email;

"

in regards to your AMT order request. At the moment our merchant is not
allowing us to take international credit card payments at the moment. We
are working on solving this issue.

company to not only accept payments from EU clients, but also to use

actually I have a similar problem since I wanted to post in the bitmine hardware section
Funny enough that AMT seems to be the US reseller of bitmine.ch (http://bitmine.ch/?p=2968) where I already placed and paid my order, so I really hope that they are not scam.
However having to wait 3 to 4 weeks for a DHL express shipment does not put much confidence into AMT.

My problem with bitminer.ch is the following:
Me: If I understood it correctly, the Rig consists of up to 14 150GH/s (nominal) modules. How can you then put together e.g. a 0.5TH/s system? Would this be the either a 0.45TH/s or 0.6TH/s system?
Bitmine: The Coincraft Rig modules are 250Gh/s each. and can take up to 8 modules (2Th/s)
Me: If I buy
-          A Rig 500GH/s ($3399)
-          6 CoinCraft Rig Upgrade Modules ($749)
I end up with a 2TH/s system?
Bitmine @13:16:Yes that's correct,
you will end up with a full slot Rig 2Th/s
Bitmine @13:48: No, if do you make an order for one RIG 500 GH/s and  an upgrade with 6 moduls at 150 GH/s you will get in total 1.4 TH/s and not 2TH/s.

so I am really start to doubt whether they are real.

what do you think?

I placed an order 2 days ago.  Today, 12/12/2013, i received the following e-mail from them.  When i order, on their website, it specifically stated that they accept credit card payments on the lower models.  I placed the order to see if they are a scam.  Sure looks like it.

we see that you've recently placed an order with us.
Unfortunately we cannot accept credit card payments at the current moment. I am sure you can understand.
You have the option to keep your order and can make a payment via Wire,
Check or Bitcoin.


If you opt for a wire payment (the fastest, probably easiest payment if
you don't have Bitcoins in the moment), we'll issue you a quick wire
request invoice and after you've made your payment we issue you a paid
wire receipt. The majority of our clients opt to pay via wire.


Please let me know what you'd like to do, again I apologize about the
confusion.

Hey every one!,

I'm new here. I wanted to pass some information that I found during my search in seeing if this company is a scam or not. I found their flicker stream. I then downloaded their photos and ran each image in exif tool i( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchangeable_image_file_format). They uploaded it with their cell phone. This gave us a GPS location where these photos were taken. I have also included a google map where this GPS data takes you.

So someone in Bulgaria is playing with an assembled board, at a factory office... What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? I doubt they would be making them in the USA, or they would cost thousands more.

Not sure about the CC thing, but I am sure that might have to do with reducing CC fraud/loss, for them. Or they just might not have CC setup yet. (It is expensive to accept CC's, and more expensive when you count the number of online CC frauds buying these things with stolen credit-cards.)

They give receipts for the transaction, which is enough for legal prosecution, if needed. These are not blind-transfers, to ghost-recipients, in a foreign country. Cool that you snooped the EXIF data though. You must be a frequent visitor to 4chan or reddit. (Part of investigation is actual investigation, not just looking at random data and making assumptions based off individual components. I could have looked at that ash-tray and told you the photo was from Bulgaria.)

NOTE: That same board, which WAS in Bulgaria, is now on the desk in the videos on google, in the Pennsylvania, USA offices. Same board, screws, power-supply... No Bulgarian ash-tray.

Hi, I'm a newbie user curious about AMT too.....  Interesting posts.  I'm comfortable with the fact that these are manufactured outside the US, and even more so following the revelations about American manufacturers in bed with intelligence agencies (who might have a vested interest in sabotage of competing currencies).

What I'm a little leery of, is the fact that AMT has been dark as far as communicating for as long as I've seen their site up.  I placed an order for their 1.2 THs machine around Christmas, and haven't heard anything from them, besides an automated "thanks for your order" email.  So, I've got $7000 USD burning a hole in my pocket, that I'm getting ready to dump in my Mt. Gox account instead of saving it for the AMT order.

Any one else out there have any experiences like that?
