Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop the backend-infrastructure for scale.
  • Build cutting edge machine learning applications.
  • Come up with novel, user-facing/real-time applications in data prediction space.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field like Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics or related field required. Advanced degree is a strong plus.
  • Passionate. A love of testing, tuning and analysis through a rigorous scientific approach.
  • Strong background in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques (regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks, Monte Carlo methods, etc.).
  • Experience in working with large datasets and relational databases is highly desirable (SQL).

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
