Exactly why? I am mad at myself for not looking into cryptsy when I heard about it. I could be rich now if I had just started using it earlier in November. Wow..

I think with all the media attention that bitcoin received the last couple weeks that people are trying to find the next coin to get huge in order to get rich quick.

I think they just roughly follow the price of bitcoin. If people think bitcoin is more valuable then they think that all coins must be more valuable.
