and if possible, get some nice plastic inserts for them. I bought a hundred of the identity card inserts really cheap off of ebay. They were a bit to small, so I print the wallets out at 89% regular size. I also have to fold them a bit differently, but when done, they look really nice.

As much as it's a nice gesture, 99% of people will probably just look at you like you've given them monopoly money.

I'd have to agree with hilariousandco that on average a person would be confused by the papaer wallet for a tip.  Not to say it isn't an excellent idea.  I just think there would need to be atleast a 10 min discussion explaining what they're receiving.  All and all I support the effort and hope it catches on.
