This is unlikely just due to increased load after massive global media attention, is it? Look at all the other exchanges, even small chinese ones like bter.com handle it fine...

Anybody here any idea what is going on? I cannot post in the main forums yet.

For me too, website almost unusable. Very simple API calls taking  > 10s to execute.
I really hope it clears up soon, or I will need to move on to another exchange...
