Due to my uni course I HAVE to use a mac OSX, and keep coming into problems as this is probably the least supported of the major OS's. My current main problem as I'm setting up wallets, joining LTC mining pools via asteroid, etc, but some of the downloads, mainly from github, don't work. I'm not sure if they download right, as I get no .dmg to run an install but a host of unix and files that look like they will help (DiabloMiner.OSX.sh) but it says there are no programs that know how to execute them.

Is it a simple case of a few terminal commands to run the installer?

I'm also trying to start up various other online currencies like feathercoin, teracoin, freicoin and BitBAr to use in the future, but I'm finding it impossible to get any of these in mac format that will work.
