I am not a computer graphics designer, just an amateur artist, but have worked with logos concepts for a quite some time.

I feel that logo designers need to have at some idea of the business nature before they can design a suitable logo that suits a particular company and its brand image. I mean the logo design would be completely different if your company is an antique store, software company, or a even restaurant.

If you don't mind that is... provide a bit more information what you plan to do. I believe it would help the designers to create something you might need to use for a life time.

I agree.

Made something simple. I could do something with the Fibonacci spiral if you like.

I love this one. It looks really 'clean' and professional.

Here is a simple and elegant idea I have been toying with. It is a golden rectangle with a fibonacci multispiral centered in its largest square. The styling, font, etc depend on what your company's business is (I used a console style font assuming you deal with computers). If you want to send me some info or  talk about more logos:

chalesgagan@gmail.com

http://i44.tinypic.com/ou1948.jpg

It's not really your logo if you copy it from somewhere else.  Roll Eyes
http://momath.org/home/fibonacci-numbers-of-sunflower-seed-spirals/

That would be like calling every photo of a horse plagiarism of the first photo ever of a horse.
But I understand your point, claiming credit for a particular graphic would be unfair.
Credit for the multispiral goes to:

I like logo 2 the best. I would possibly change the color, maybe get rid of the gradient.

lol at calling any of these awesome..  this is what happens when you put up a bounty instead of just hiring someone for a proper wage.. everyone with photoshop or paint tries to come along and create a logo.. these are ATROCIOUS..

This is true to be honest, most clients pay at least £300 for a logo so experienced designers wont be to very enthusiastic with a 0.10BTC bounty.

Are we back on this again? Some people are comfortable with a small amount of work and a decent award. And this is not a bash session of peoples work, if you dont want to do it, dont. I am perfectly capable of drawing or using photoshop myself, but I would like to have people on the forum involved and benefiting from the work we offer.

There is the possibility that I will not use any of the designs, but I will still pay the bounty to the best one I see.

You should think about what you're saying. Sure some of these designs are not masterpieces, but the designers are new and they have to start somewhere. I'm sure your first designs were not any better. Practice makes perfect and these designers will get better the more and more logos they make.

I don't think any of them is atrocious. They are miles better than what I can do on a computer.

IMO, some of them are too literal and not very organic. They look nice, but there is no message coming across. I sketched two crude concepts (in minutes) to illustrate what I mean. They are not logo designs, just here to deliver a point about not being too literal on the fibonacci spiral, and about delivering a message in a logo.

I still believe pen and paper works best  Wink
