Help Please

I am very new to this and also not very computer savvy however

I think I have my worldcoin wallet installed ok

And I think I got a miner from blocks factory

how can I tell if I am mining or is there a better easier way to set up.

When I click start mining my hashes go to 2543 and my fans kick in

I am doing this on my pc and I worry I am doing it wrong any advice would be great.

my temp is normally 64 and 64   but goes to 80 + and 80 + almost right away
