Hello, I have a BFL 50GH that's only yielding about 30GH...

http://postimg.org/image/c5h6dom4d/

1. I emailed Butterfly's RMA for a replacement but I've been told (by others) not to hold my breath

2. Someone in a thread recommended placing it in a freezer for 10 minutes. It seemed to make 0c and 0d reactivate (as seen in screenshot)

3. I'm also trying to update the firmware or run the "auto tuner" but the normal version of EasyMiner doesn't have this option and their "beta" won't download... any ideas?

4. Another thread mentioned getting a T10 star screwdriver, opening it up and replacing the thermal paste

Any ideas on what to do next?

Def use a T10 and get rid of those useless grills - will breath a lot easier.  You can also repaste it and should get better temps.  Lightfoot (pm him) might be able to help you with the nonfunctional engines.

Thanks for your suggestions.

It is being powered by the stock BFL PSU, I switched it out for a Corsair 430 and it is still underperforming.

Star screwdriver comes today, will try with the case off and then thermal paste if that doesn't show improvement.

PM'd lightfoot as well. Will keep you updated.

UPDATE: I have just decided to list the damaged unit on eBay to cut my losses. I'm not going to link to it because that's self promotional and probably not kosher here
