Discards 'china bans bitcoin' (even tho its true, its a ban): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=358453.0

Keeps 'china doesnt ban bitcoin' (the real fud, trying to convince naive people nothing bad is going on): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=358368.0

obvious censorship going on here, almost china-like I would say
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Well, China didn't "ban bitcoin". They are just trying to regulate it somehow.

"The PBOC will require trading platforms that deal in virtual currencies such as bitcoin to register with telecommunications authorities, it said.

The central bank did allow that ordinary individuals were free to use bitcoin, so long as they take on the risk themselves."

That doesn't look like a ban to me, although they banned it from financial institutions, that's true and useless like banning someone from helping it's competitors.

There are plenty of threads about this issue in the forum. Not surprised they don't want misleading headlines like that in the forum. I wouldn't either.
