What happened:: Me and j1mmorz (ebay name) spoke through ebay about me buying bitcoins from him using paypal. we bypassed the ebay system because that's what he wanted us to do to save on fees. He requested that I make the paypal payment as a gift, to which I refused. after I sent him the money, I never received the bitcoins. Even after he tried to convince me that he sent them, I contacted the company that he used to send them (Bitcurex), and they told me that no such transaction took place. Luckily I was able to reverse the paypal transaction and get my money back. but I saw now on ebay that he has scammed somebody else too!
