This is awesome news.  The popular video game system which started from a Kickstarter 2 years ago now accepts Bitcoin as a payment option.  This really shoots things into the mainstream:

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I'm currently mining litecoin with my OUYA right now. 130 h/s, and the thing is HOT.

*I suggest you do not do this, I don't know how long my OUYA will last.*

OUYA has some pretty bad ratings though, not even sure people will buy this. It's a great concept, but was just executed wrongly. However, perhaps accepting bitcoins may boost their sales by just a tiny bit. Smiley

I don't think there are any good news to compensate for the mixed signals we are receiving from china today.

Ouya has sold over 100k consoles in only 6 months.  The games are actually getting quite a bit better as developers now have had 6 months to work on things.  This is somewhat big news I would say.  Another major US merchant accepting bitcoin.
