I think that between bitcoin and ethereum makes no difference. Both are connected to each other and greatly affect the value of each.

Bitcoin will always have a marketing edge just from name alone. A lot of casual crypto buyers still think that Bitcoin Cash, Diamond, Gold, etc. are scams.

wallets don't fulfill anything. wallets are there to create private keys, send and receive transactions,... and bitcoin core is a wallet.

nah, all these projects know they are not bitcoin so they won't claim anything. they will actually exist a lot easier because they don't make such dumb claims. as an example you can see Litecoin which is strong even after 8+ years even though it is a fork (copy) of bitcoin because it never claimed to be "staoshi's vision"

 These side projects that try to create a Bitcoin "something" are just attempts to make easy money. So far, none have brought anything new. No innovation that could be considered truly revolutionary. I predict that these projects will get a bit more sophisticated because until then the attempts were to create a Bitcoin with lower rates, they failed. A more decentralized Bitcoin, they failed. An anonymous Bitcoin, they failed. Perhaps one of the next attempts is a Bitcoin with a supposed Turing complete, it will fail as well.

  But by the end of the year, it will be clear that Bitcoin's current long chain is the toughest and most robust project of all. Then we will have only sidechains. The altcoins will have very important and diverse functions. But none will try to confuse the public with these campaigns where they say they are Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is unique. And this is the result of the consensus of the majority.

These fake bitcoins will lose their merit, especially if bcash fails. It will be similar to bitconnect failing and all HYIP's dying instantly. That said the same will happen to cryptocurrency as a whole if some shitcoin such as ripple takes the helm.
What I always wonder is why is the whitepaper law? Surely technology needs to evolve, which is impossible if you keep the original whitepaper as a bible.

If you want to go the Roger Ver way, then I hope he has never used an IPv6 connection, because that is a new revision and is NOT what was mentioned in the original TCP/IP RFC/Whitepaper. Using fake Internet Protocol makes him a hypocrite - Babies are dying !

If there is any success to attach the trial to, is the fact that he his beginning to have a rethink starting from the reported change in his website and the attention this has garnered since the time it has started some weeks back. You don't determine the success of a case until the judgement has been delivered.

There have been several wannabe Bitcoin forks and not one of them has come close to Bitcoin's success, no matter what strategies they try. BCash is currently trading at $1 661 USD and Bitcoin at $9 381 USD, so there is no competition.

The same thing is happening with Ethereum, because we have Ethereum Classic / Cash / Gold / Dark........ 


Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) is trading at $5.04 USD and Bitcoin Gold (BTG) at $74.13 USD - This is a Market Cap of only $1 259 464 261, compared to Bitcoin (BTC) at $159 880 567 374 USD.

I see nothing other than some shitcoins trying to be Bitcoin.

Fact is, there might be Altcoins but Bitcoin will still shine brighter. There’s no denying that still all the other coins’ price revolves around price of BTC. It’s good that some other coins are showing positive signs. It’s good for the market as a whole. Personally, I would still put my money on BTC.

I doubt anything has gained momentum yet. There is a discussion ongoing to sue Roger for misleading the crypto community and I don't think anything has started yet apart from the discussions with the community.

That is already ongoing and now we have total 9 forked coins available in the market. But do we really care? I am sure the old community members just don't give a shit about it because they believe in the power of bitcoin and they know what is the actual bitcoin and what are those fake altcoins.

Is it your propaganda to promote ETH? Diversification is always good for your investment portfolio. So why ETH only? Why not other altcoins like Zcash, Ripple, Litecoin, Dash? Why ETH only?

I am sure no community members will believe those useless marketing strategies even if there are 9 more forked coins. The challenge is with the new members who doesn't have much information about bitcoin and these forks. It is easier for the new members to get confused. But then self education is the key to such information. Also community help is another important aspect to that education. So I don't think any major impact these false marketing strategy will do. Truth always shines and stays above.

What a load of shit. Every fork that goes nowhere strengthens Bitcoin and demonstrates why you can't magic up long term trust out of nothing. And if everyone did switch to ETH they'd be hit with an avalanche of forks too.

ETH is like every other alt. It's had the luxury of being shielded while BTC takes hit after hit on its behalf.

Some are trying to take the musk like bitcoin but fortunately no one can succeed. All the forks are being trashed. But you are right that there must be some propaganda regarding the issue to avoid any unwanted situation.
