Bitcoin had a great run, folks. It was fun while it lasted. But it's obvious the party is over. C'est la via.

I'm putting all my money into Bytecoin. ALL OF IT. Welcome to the future!

I've been a bitcoin investor since late last year, I'm not an active trader so I don't frequent the price charts or follow the graphs on a daily basis.  This is actually the first "crash" that I've witnesse live. Every other time in the past when bitcoin "crashed" I didn't even know.. I get informed by a friend about the "crash" that just happend, check the charts later in the day and the price is either the same, higher as when I last saw, or on the way back up again.

Point being - yawn .. Crash? Lol price back up to 1200+ before Monday ends

Perspective .. something most of the chickens running around here do not have.

these bitcoins need an in-built panic button. it's funny how we are always seeing "bitcoin will hit $1 million by 2016" threads, while also "bitcoin is worth $0" at the same time.

if you think bitcoin is over, good for you. just go cash out and wait to see what happens. maybe you'll be right, maybe you'll be wrong.. you'll just have to live with the results.

I've watched bitcoin closely for over a year now. I sold 70% of my position yesterday. There was sooooo much hype behind BTC and it appeared buyers were drying up around $1100-$1200.. we put in a double top. It is not bouncing back like it usually does.. I say we are def in downtrend mode and will go as low as $600 MINIMUM... more like the $300-$500 range.

I think we are in downtrend for a while now but a "THE END IS NEAR" isn't the place to discuss double tops and elliott waves  Tongue

yeah, a bear market makes the most sense. the hysteria lasted for a long time, didn't it? i wasn't expecting it to hover around $1k that long. that's not like how most of the rallies in the past have been, so that just makes things more wild and volatile.

That made me laugh. I think we need some of that because things don't look well at all. Many people will lose huge today.

People need to understand that any commodity, stock, investment will never shoot straight up.  Usually there are dips to fill the gaps.  There was a huge gape between 600 and 1000 which was never filled.  That's what's happening.  Once the gap is filled, things will stableize and have a higher base for the next leg up.

Like all things there are bumps in the road. Its going to continue crashing and rising with such dramatic until its no longer treated like a commodity and more like the currency it was intended to be. When people actualy start spending it instead of trading it the value will fi.d a stable level.

Its far from dead but its definitly nerve racking.

Whats the purpose of this threat?

The OP is a person who sows discord on this forum by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory messages, with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response.

Isn't that a troll?   Grin

BTC ain't going anywhere any time soon.  Just sit back, buy if you are able, and watch them go back up!
