Hey guys. Wondering what if these ports are just a number that you can choose or if they have to be made for a cryptocurrency. Tia

You've got to use them (the RPC one) for solo mining a specific coin.

I'm not sure with what you are mining, but if you are new to this scene and mining with a GPU (a graphics cards) I think it's better for you to join a pool for a specific coin. You wont need those ports then Wink.

I'm going to start a coin. Just wondering if the port numbers are a number of your choice or are specific to an IP address or something else
