Greetings all. I have for sale an Antique Mahjong set with tiles made of dovetailed Ivory and Teak, circa 1860. When I bought it, it had a certificate saying it had been sold by the "House of Ivory" for some obscure amount of money in 1905~. That certificate has been misplaced over the years. Sad

Anyways it includes the disintegrating carrying case with latches branded "Eagle Lock, Co." a full set of 144 tiles plus 20 slightly larger tiles that may be older, definitely made by a different person in a different time. A bunch of Bakelite chips, 4 tile holders, and 2 dice are also included. Most of the tiles are in grade A condition, considering how old they are, there are few tiles with slightly separated pieces, I'm thinking they froze at some point and expanded/contracted(?).

Earlier this year I went around to some local antique shops and got offers between 300$-2000$ and one offered 5000$ in-store credit. I decided to hang onto it because I wasn't really hard up for the money and planned on learning to play, and playing Mahjong. Turns out all the people that play Mahjong in my area are old women who like to talk about their feet and gossip about people in the neighborhood.

I'm not too anxious to sell this, but I could use some BTC/LTC/ASC right now. I would also be willing to trade for electronics/mining hardware/MOLLE gear/guns/basically anything potentially useful. I'm in the Wisconsin/Minnesota are if one would like to meet to inspect said Mahjong set.

Any Mahjong lovers on these forums?

Left is a tile from the set of 144.

Thanks for looking!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Yeah when I saw it in the store I was in I thought it was a flute, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the case.

I'd take 1000~ in cryptos, or some cryptos and trade for other stuff. The lady that offered me 5000 in trade value seemed to think her items were worth their weight in gold. Maybe they were idk.

would you take ~800 dollars worth of mining equiptment (block eruptors)

edit: doing some more research - some of the most expensive mahjong sets that have sold have only been like 1.2k or so

i dont think its actually worth even 800 haha, im really tired right now sorry for that

let me know how much you would accept for these realistically...

600 in trade for USB erupters, assuming a high but reasonable 40$ each, if revision 3+. Or perhaps a blade and 2 USBs.
