The deflationary power of Bitcoin will now unfold again... Well.. we're still in the inflationary phase where new ones are created at the highest rate. I wouldn't be so certain that it's only up from here, in dollar terms. There may yet be periods where the dollar price drops before they resume the climb they will ultimately enjoy (which may be years away).

Agreed. Bitcoin won't be deflationary for many, many years. I did lose 1BTC over the weekend because I didn't have the balls to hold though. You win some, you lose some, either way gambling is fun
