Yes

For the price to drop, someone has to buy btc's at a lower price. So yes. The thousands of btc's sold yesterday at low prices were bought by someone.

Keep a buy order that is relatively low, and you might catch some next time.

In case something really bad happens, you will take the coin in the mid-way of the price fall.

Yesterday, Chinese Gov't ban financial institutions to make bitcoin transaction, but allows public to do transaction and take their own risks.
It is not really a bad news IMHO, and your suggestion would give you some cheap coins.

But, if the government decide to ban all bitcoin transactions in China, then you may regret about your buy order Tongue

Most exchanges are too slow to use on such moments anyway. The best thing to do is keep a low buy order, as mentioned earlier.

It was quite entertaining to see the speculation boards going on the roller coaster ride last night  Grin
Glad to see it's still in the four digits after all the panic.

I lost quite a few mBTCs in panic selling. But escaped much heavier damage after I quickly bought back the BTCs. Lesson learnt. Intra-day trading is only for experienced people.
