Hi so my network port got damaged in transit and i have a blade minus the network port, needless to say im trying to repair it but it
has been effectively twisted off the board, does anyone know what smd solder pads on the blade to go what pin on the HR961160C socket?

Trying to get a replacement from a amazon buyer from where i live is going to be a nightmare Smiley

From what i can tell from this http://www.google.co.nz/imgres?imgurl=http://www.seekic.com/uploadfile/ic-mfg/201331920237836.jpg&imgrefurl=http://ur.en.seekic.com/product/integrated_circuits_ics/HR961160C_HR961160C.html&h=460&w=685&sz=37&tbnid=_JdGTGhNXI2PGM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=134&zoom=1&usg=__Mq44q3DnQcOPyQ3GGcgTNFtZBtI=&docid=OWYl8dS9foW3rM&sa=X&ei=LOWgUo_mEcS4iAfF5IHgDA&ved=0CD8Q9QEwAw
and the pins actually on the plug, i think p6 p7 and p8 are the only pins actually used on the blade for communication and p10 for grounding.

Of course given its been twisted im not sure where those pins are actually attached on the blade itself

o.O  can you share a picture of your board??  How the heck did it get twisted off? did you buy a used one?

It was probably broken when he sent it.

In any case, you didn't get what you paid for.  File a claim w/ amazon.  It should be insured and the amazon seller can file a claim w/ the shipping company.

im going to try a claim on amazon

as for pics http://onesan.su/up/download/1386314467.jpg

when i got it the top right socket ground was all that was holding it to the board, the left one as you can see had completely come apart
from the board and the socket was twisted slightly.

oh and if your wondering, yes my desoldering pump has apparently disappeared since i last used it :/

Wow,  how was it packaged??

Did you buy new or used?  the original box is pretty sturdy, and if you add packaging around that, then there's no way a normal shipping incident could result in that kind of damage.

What credit card did you use?  Most credit cards have accidental damage and warranty extensions which you may want to use instead.

Im pretty sure the packaging was the original the seller got it in. pizza style box, "BE blade designed by bitfountain 2013 made in china" esd bag was
sealed, the whole package was in perfect condition, till i opened it and saw the socket was askew a bit and even then i wasnt confident it was
a issue till i saw it move about.

Edit, i used visa.

In that case, it sounds like it was damaged prior to packaging on the mfg's side.  Might want to find out who the original seller was and try to get a replacement.

I don't see why you need a diagram, it is obvious where it all goes

Wow, they're shipping without a reset header?
