you can ask all real estate offerings weather they also accept cryptocurrencies, the well known ones like ethereum, bitcoin, litecoin are available often for purchase of real estate

It is not the simple task due legal barriers. In some countries it is obligatory to make government registration of rights on real estate and agreement should be in local fiat currency.

Yeah that's completely true, I imagine it would be pretty much impossible in some countries, unless you find some sort of workaround or loophole. OP, you might just want to talk to a real-estate agent about that. Or specifically look for real-estate offers which accept Bitcoin, but try on local websites. (classifieds etc.)

Hey why you have created your thread on this section. There is no information has been shared about the project or anything. I see you have query on buy real estate with the crypto currency. If your government allows for the paper works with the bitcoin payment. Then only possibilities to have the when it is not legal. You need to pay the taxes with the high services cost taxation for you. I advice you to move this thread project development discussion section. This is not perfect place to discuss your I believe.

i see that projects, also, in russian Market too, and hear about that projects on Foreign markets. As i understand, in Russia was no one sold of real estate, so, it seems to me, that here it was not working. But, i read there, on that forum, that somebody want to develop city, where anybody can buy real estate for himself with crypto (especially, with BTC) What you think about it - is it good idea ?) PS. yeah, member found many of that themes)) i hope, you'll find one, special for you

Software provider Ltd has developed a payment system RedChain, which allows you to pay for smth in ecommerce with crypto currency. RedChain contains the Personal Cabinet, own exchanger, integration with crypto banks and crypto-exchanges, a payment plug-in for integration with ecommerce. All operations are conducted within the framework of the law of the Russian Federation. The platform exchanges crypto currency for fiat money in the proper jurisdiction, so the merchant receives the rubles and the buyer checks for the purchase. Buy estate in the Russian Federation!

Nowadays some people are selling real state for crypto. As You can see some news online that some property is for sale for bitcoin. And there is a family in Europe sold their house for bitcoin and they are just travelling around the world. I'm sure in the future there will be a platform using blockchain technology that you can instantly find buyer and seller of real state for cryptocurrency payment. Digital currency is the future of payment system.

Yes, there are some real estate sales that are accepting bitcoins, but I would cross check their credentials and make sure that I am doing a safe and secure transaction while I am doing that.

Are there any third party notaries that do this? I know this kind of defeats the purpose..

If you're not keen on the extra step of converting to fiat and then doing it the "traditional way" then a place to start is with the agents already recognised by the government in UK like Go Homes Ltd in the UK. They've done quite a bit of sales and rentals direct with Bitcoin - any registered notary would be more than happy to facilitate the legal side of it (trust me, notaries will facilitate barters in cows and chickens if you want). Have read about blockchain notaries like the one Microsoft is building for Office or even Notary Platform but... I know these are unlikely to stand in my country.

There are many variables: your nationality, your residency, in which country you want buy the property, is the seller accepting cryptos or do you have to change to fiat, just to mention the most important ones. Depending on them you can or you cannot make the deal.... not to mention fiscal and AML implications on such a transaction can vary wildly according to national law. So yes it is possible in most cases but you have to know how and adapt.

I had never bought real estate with crypto. But one thing I know for sure is that you can buy anything with crypto as long as the seller or the dealer is ready to accept payment in such currency. But that would be actually quite difficult because you now that real estate includes many regulatory compliance and registration are also needed. Since government does not recognize cryptos as legal tender, the agreement has to be made in national currency.

At least where I live that's not true. You can sell a house for potatoes if you want. But the taxes on the house need to be in fiat currency, so you still need some cash.

Today, listings from one coast to another tout bitcoin as a way to make a property transaction. A new collection of haute residences in Hollywood with Los Angeles skyline views go for $1.21 million or its bitcoin equivalent; in Washington, D.C., two-bedroom condos are on the market for between 36 and 84 bitcoins. In Austin, the seller of one ranch is offering a “signficant discount” if the buyer pays with bitcoin.
