Hi gurus,

I am trying to download a cpu miner from :

http://sourceforge.net/projects/cpuminer/files/pooler-cpuminer-2.3.2-win64.zip/download

but my avast finds a trojan virus and I cannot download the miner. Is it really a virus and how harmful is it ?

Its a false positive.

You can confirm this statement by uploading and having it be scanned by multiple different products.

Might help if you read the all the information by the author before asking a question.

Q: My antivirus flags the Windows binary as malware.
