Does Tom keep them, does he distribute them out?

I don't think that's been disclosed, but I bet he sure wishes you never mentioned it.
It's tricky - obviously unclaimed coins should be distributed to all of Tom's victims, but what constitutes an unclaimed coin? Would we have to wait 6 months or a year to make sure they're not claimed?

They're closing the claim form after 30 days. Anything not claimed by then should be distributed among those who did file a claim.

Oh, interesting. I can't imagine too many people in the bitcoin world not claiming their BTC - this community is connected to the internet and information more than most. Who knows, maybe we'll get some bonus coins in the end.

Where's Tom now?
Tom already has the 51%. Don't you think he has plenty of time to think about this scam through. Everybody's happy with 49% and no more legal action and he walks with an appx. 8 mil + whoever doesn't get their claim in. If you believe this intrusion farse be happy you got your 49%. I got my 49% of .12 btc only because I unloaded my account on a purchase just prior to his execution of this deal. Losing the .12 would have been insignificant to me. The more I think about this scam the better I like it. I personally think old Tom is a genius. There is no precedent to prosecute him on if he volunteer's 49% return and only he says the rest are gone. Give him credit, he completed a flawless execution of his own design. Bikerbum

It looks like a rather simple scam to me. Anyone seen any proof of anything?

It looks like a rather simple scam to me. Anyone seen any proof of anything? How much more proof do you need? 51% of the coins are gone without anything backing his claim up that someone stole them. Ofcause its a scam until you and others can prove otherwise. This camel jocky needs to start collecting his proof and showing it to the public that he was actually cleaned out of 51%. People seem to get confused here, We dont need to prove he is guilty, he actually needs to prove that he is innocent. He is already guilty by 51% of bitcoins missing from people accounts.

Why do you think it's an elaborate scam? Think about it and then we will see this time next month the outcome. Remember you only have thirty days to post your claim.

Since there is no law, that means there is no law that says he can't. 8^)
