Well if you are not looking to invest in bitcoin then your next best option will be ethereum. Mostly if you just want to invest then just stick to the top 5 coins on exchanges they have the best projects and they have the highest probability of lasting a long time in the market so you don't end up losing all of your money to a scam coin
