Hello,

Bitcoin is a wild ride and there are a lot of new faces coming into to it now. They may also take note in cryptocurrency or "altcoins" as they've been called. My first move into the altcoin world was at BTC-E which was such a horrid experience because of the troll box. Nobody told me how to read charts or look for different keys that would make my investments wise. I read the troll box, made purchases based on what I thought would be profit, and lost a good chunk of my coin in several moves.

Over time I learned to read the charts like at cyptocoincharts.info or look at market cap trends at coinmarkektcap.com - check out subreddits associated to my coin to make sure there were good communities around the coins and that they weren't just pump & dump waves I was trying to ride. And to even check out irc channels at webchat.freenode.net to see what people were talking about and that they believed in the coins.

Choose your coins wisely, and don't get caught up in the quick hype!

Happy trading!

Kujata

Newbies should store large amount of Bitcoins only in a paper wallet for security reasons.  Smiley

I don't see anyone giving tips here, but i have one:
keep your coins for the long term, unless your experienced in investing don't start to day-trade
Also keep your wallet safe, put it on a pair of usb's and lock them in a safe so you can't lose coins!

I don't have the 14 posts yet , but i probably will till 12-15 dec, great initiative btw!
