It depends on how many things. Long term vs short investors. Few coins vs many coins. Simply put if somebody is holding many coins and he has financed his investments with borrowing money then the answer will surely be yes. If you have just a few coins then you may want to sit back and relax and watch a good movie in a cold Friday night.

Somebody buy a car with bitcoins , well, you can't really call that good progress to deny the "xx" news that came from China  that nobody really know what they mean.
