I have been doing some research on buying some mining hardware to increase the hash rate of my setup. At the moment I am only pulling in 10.7 Ghash from my ASIC blade. I did come across in my research that people were selling contracts where they would assign their miners to a requested worker for a price. I though this was a cool idea and would like to try it out a little bit. If anyone here is interested in renting their hardware to me I am willing to pay $.65 per Ghash per day you can provide! This type of contract has benefits for both renter and rentee!

The renters benefits include that I would be paying you for the services which your miner would be hashing for the time being. You don't have to hassle with MtGox to sell your bitcoins and I am giving you immediate payment before the services. I am also paying a generous amount for the hashrate (about 25% greater than the current market price, but of course that's changing all over the place right now).

I would benefit from this agreement because I do not have to worry about hardware issues, paying for power, software configurations, or other problems of that matter. Which if you have miners already set up it should be pretty easy to switch them to my worker!

Obviously it is hard to trust people we don't know online. That's why I would like to start out with 1 day contracts where the most either parties could only lose about 1 USD. But if the agreement works well and you want to keep renting at a fair price I would be willing to pay for higher hash rates for 1 or 2 week terms. It is in the interest of the renter to not rent for more than 2 weeks because if the value of bitcoins go up then I should be paying more for your services.

If you like the idea message me here! If anyone notices flaws in my logic or has reasons for why my terms are unfair please give me some feedback! It would be much appreciated.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Essentially its a decentralized version of where CEX.IO is doing. It would be more fair, though, because short term prices could be negotiated. Do you have any hashrate you are willing to sell?
