is coin base safe to link bank account? its giving me to options one is the small deposit and withdrawl to verify takes 2 to 3 days, and one takes minutes, they want bank log in info, and it takes just minutes to verify, that seems scary, but would like to but some btc while they are at 700

also are the wallets coinbase have just like blockchains? most safe?

one more thing, is there any way to buy btc right now, using paypal? or cc?, and if there are better places to buy btc or ltc please let me know

thanks

Coinbase is legitimate; however you may want to consider changing your bank account password after linking

Wallet--no it's not, blockchain allows you to download your wallet and they don't store the password.  Coinbase keeps your wallet and you are trusting them with it.  I don't keep much balance on coinbase (in case the site vanishes or gets shut down by feds).

You should be able to obtain BTC immediately using BitInstant and Moneygram, I have done this in the past but it takes some effort and fees are high.

I like coinbase, I find it user friendly and it's based in the USA.

$Gangnam works hard, so you don't have to.

If you want to be on the safe side, use a separate checking account for Coinbase withdrawals/deposits. Also, CB is a good wallet but cold/offline storage is always recommended for storing any large amounts of BTC.

and one takes minutes, they want bank log in info, and it takes just minutes to verify,

You've got to make your own choices, but there are several threads here on coinbase --particularly, bad ones. Check the scam accusations thread, check my own list of scams, etc. Not only is it a poor avenue for exchanging in the first place, but handing over your login credentials to a third party is insane. I realize a growing number of services are "innovating to the next level" with the sort of bullshit, but that doesn't make it any less insane, just more common.

Learn to WoT, and don't get stuck in these binds where you'll have to do the wrong thing to get what you want. It'll make life much more enjoyable, and you won't potentially be supporting the asshats of the world in continuing on with their asshattery.

Coinbase is the only BTC company I have tried that hasn't screwed me so far.  Their are always a few that will have problems. Most of the time it is their own fault. Eventually all the issues are straightened out to my knowledge.

If the BTC price is soaring upwards Coinbase is known to cancel orders though.
