Hi to all!

You have thought that we may have not yet seen the true alternate cryptocurriencie that will replace Bitcoin? Maybe the winner not will be Bitcoin, Litecoin or Quarkcoin.

When internet started, Altavista and Geocities were the first but the winners came later: Google, Facebook…

Maybe the real alternative crypto is still in development, with authentic new features that make a different from all the rest.

What do you think?

Best regards! Smiley

and rembering QRK, XPM,LTC , etc will be like remembering caramail, lescopainsd'avant, oldfriends  ... (don't even remeber about the other dead social networks things)

totaly agreed, crypto needs some eureka to really disrupt currency market. Its technical advantages, like the decentralized no regulation, fast transactions, artificial scarcity isn't enough. There is a need for intrinsic value like gold have had all the ay long, (chemistry, medicine, arts, leisure , etc. ) .

My 2 cents take is that we won't see an outsider here but a well established big IT player taking over with an innovative idea + backing

I think Curecoins / Gridcoins really have potential as they're focusing on science research which is innovative rather than wasting computing power.

However curecoins dev are not giving any news on the project nor when it could be launched... it feels like they don't realise the potential of such coins

Yes! I think the worse feature around Bitcoin is the wasting computing power that could be used for research work serving several purposes at once.
