There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

This was very entertaining. It is a great perspective to look from at the US dollar. Very clever and actually a bit educational as well. Thank You, OP, for sharing.

Exemplary! Really loved the bottom comment: Experts are advising against any kind of long-term investment in the United States dollar, as the currency has been losing value for 227 years in a row.

Motherfuckers! I've been trying to get my money outta BoA for almost two months now so that I can invested in the covenant dollar, but my withdrawal request is on hold while it's being reviewed. Does anybody know of a better bank that I can put my money in so that the next time the dollar rises I'll be able to be in a better position to buy?
Damn, I wish I was an early adopter, then I would be rich by now. BTW, does anybody have a list of websites that accepts these dollars?
Madness! Utter madness!

Individuals can continue to use the dollar, but should hold it at their own risk. Currency exchanges should stay away from it completely.
