Its on its way back to 500, i would assume it will keep repeating this pattern for a while before finally stabilizing under 500.

I don't think so. $600,- has been always the bottom so far, but I think it won't stay that low. Stabilizing at $800-900 makes more sense in my opinion.

Accept your mistake and do not repeat it again. It is currently hovering around $700. Sorry if you sold for less.

I sold when it was lower because I thought it was going to go to 0. But even if bitcoin would recover to 1000dollars again, do you think it would take a very long time? Some months or even a year?

It will probably be back within this month, maybe even next week.

You're obviously new, because the Bitcoin always has such fluactuations. It's sad you sold your coins, because I think you were wrong to do that Wink. I think it will hit the 1000 dollars again tomorrow or the day after, as it always did when it dropped to $700 / $800.

My idea is to wait, wait and wait for sometime.

Not as an investment, don't exchange your coins for currency now until you are a light hearted person.

I think Bitcoin wil stabilize around 500$ till christmas (new wave of mainstream media articles ended), then it would drop even lower (to 300-400) and it'll be slowly rising in january and will hit 1000+$ in march.

It'll never drop to 100$ cause there's much more media attention nowadays and with more people, more demand and limited supply, price will go up.
Also, bitcoin mining is not "for free" as it was with GPU's and is costly and will remain costly so miners don't sell it at whatever price as some extra money (as was usual few months ago) but will sell it only at price that would atleast cover mining hardware price (decreasing supply).
Also Bitcoin inflation by blocks growth is slowing until it stops (limited total bitcoins).

I believe it'll will rise and before summer holiday, it will hit 2000-3000$ and during summer holidays it will stagnate and eventually drop a little but before next christmas it will rise rapidly again.

This is just my tip. It might drop and it might rise. Noone knows for 100% sure.

If you have 0.001BTC, don't wait. If you have 20BTC, you might want to wait.

Its returning home. So better to wait for sometime, if you have lot of bitcoins. Neither buy nor sell. Just watch.

I think you'll see a lot of mini-bubbles (much like the last couple of weeks) with spikes and valleys, but over time, they will turn ease with lower spikes and less deep valleys. Where it will stabilize is anyone's guess, but if you're buying and selling in a matter of days or weeks, then you're a speculator who got cold feet. Buy them for the long term and use them to purchase real life goods and services within reason.

Within 2 years, I think you'll be kicking yourself a little bit for selling now (just MHO).

I sold my bitcoins i had bought at 1000dollars, yes i lost nearly half of my investment, but better than losing it all.
Bitcoins will stabilize around lower than the 500 dollars which would be its true value and it most likely won't rise beyond that number.
I think the best would be to sell now and save whatever you can.

"The sky is falling"

"sell now"

Etc.

More sellers means cheaper coins.  I agree with OP, PANIC.

Ya I don't think its likely to hit $2k till next year.  The ride will be fun for the next couple months with the people rushing in to make big bucks.

I believe next week will be around $900. I dont see the price above $1,000 anytime soon. The 200-500 dollars is way off imo
