I've been tearing my hair out for two days with 1 hour of sleep trying to get this running. I've followed all the guiges TO THE T.

But I get errors and then nothing works. I can see all my cards I cant figure out how to install poclbm and use it.. is there some sort of remote desktop someone could use to help me with this? I'll pay someone to help me get this going. I'm going NUTS.

I never thought of myself as a super noob, but this makes me feel like a complete moron.

I sent you a PM offering to help you via skype. Offer is only good for the next few hours though and then I'll be offline for a couple of days.

Here's what I did on a few computers-

NVIDIA:
install driver, run poclbm from git, watch temperature so you don't burn up your cards

ATI:
install driver, download and unpack ati-steam-2.1, export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/path/to/steam/lib/x86_64 (or /lib/x86 for 32 bit), run poclbm from git, watch temperature, overclock carefully with aticonfig

More info about what cards you are using and where you are having problems would help to identify what's tripping you up.

As we slide down the banister of life, this is just another splinter in our ass.

If you're still having issues, I am selling hard drives ready to boot and mine.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

Maybe might consider this, but I wouldn be interested in the hardware. I'd be interested in an image of the drive only.
