I think, out of all of those, Time Travel is the most valuable. Unfortunately, it seems none of them can grant immortality.

Time Travel can help someone become very wise and very influential. It would be a very difficult burden to have influence over the flow of time. Imagine all the moral issues.

Thanks for this interesting post!

I guess I'd take the one million dollars, with the remaining 8 bitcoins I'd get Persuasion and use that(in conjunction with the million dollars) to get more Bitcoins, allowing me to buy any and all of the powers, becoming a god.

time travel is appealing BUT what happen if i time travel to 2145 and at that time earth has been destroyed? Do i just kill myself?
If so i would not take time travel has i know i would quickly do the fatal jump.
I would take sonic speed Persuation and Clairvoyance.

The cost of mediation increases transaction costs, limiting the
minimum practical transaction size and cutting off the possibility for small casual transactions

time travel, most valuable by far.

not only does it grant you unlimited money (since you can easily buy in on stocks you know will do well in the future), it also gives you an opportunity to learn about history, real history, not the stuff you learn at schools.

Lovely  Cheesy

{ Imagine a sequence of bits generated from the first decimal place of the square roots of whole integers that are irrational numbers. If the decimal falls between 0 and 5, it's considered bit 0, and if it falls between 5 and 10, it's considered bit 1. This sequence from a simple integer count of contiguous irrationals and their logical decimal expansion of the first decimal place is called the 'main irrational stream.' Our goal is to design a physical and optical computing system system that can detect when this stream starts matching a specific pattern of a given size of bits. bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=166760.0 } Satoshi did use a friend class in C++ and put a comment on the code saying: "This is why people hate C++".

Time travel is useless without teleportation.

Say I want to go one day into the future at this exact location.

Poof, I am one day in the future.

Argh! I am in the middle of space, Earth has traveled thousands of kilometers away...I am dead.

Ha, I'll bite.  I love these.  Only 10 BTC to spend huh?

4 BTC goes to persuasion, if you can convince anyone of anything you're already powerful enough to rule the world, no wit needed.

Another 4 BTC goes to force field generation, a great way to ward off death without messing up time itself.

Finally 2 BTC goes to sonic speed, because a caveat in "the rules" allows me to fly with it even though I could have purchased flight for 4 BTC.  But instead I can also think, react, run, and sense faster now.  Total bargain!

You may bow down now.  I am your indestructible god.

side note: never try to mess with teleportation, we all know what can happen - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Am7oKBD3PU

That is not possible, because space and time are a single continuum.

if you could time travel, you'd pretty much have unlimited money.

maybe i'd take persuasion and teleportation. if you could persuade anyone, you could create the world in the way you see fit. and if you can teleport, there's no waiting time  Cheesy

With mind control I could have a reasonably good life doing everything I want (respecting the laws of physics).

I'll chose time travel.

Then I'll purchase some AK-47s, go back to AD 1500 and give it to the native Americans. There will be funny situation when Colombus and other conquistadors come to slaughter them.
