I'm Pythagoras newbie miner aka Matt
I'm in sf,ca and wondering if anyone is interested in a west coast convention to coincide with the NYC expo on aug 18. If I had the six hundred for airfare I'd probably spend it on bitcoins Smiley
Maybe we can get someone to simulcast via webcam from ny, or just have our own pow wow.
Anyone interested? Cafe international might be a good place to start.
Aso if anyone knows of bitcoin groups in bay area can you point me to them as I'm looking for like minded souls. I looked on meetup and didn't find any.
Thx

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.
