Any resemblance to real persons or events is purely coincidental.

Great comic. The returned coins certainly seem to have quelled the outrage.

Let's assume (hypothetically) that it was an inside job. They couldn't have held onto all the coins and still maintained legitimacy; they had previously claimed that most of the coins were stored offline, and therefore unhackable. Returning half was a smart move.

Use my bank! 3/4 held offline! Why settle for only 1/2 back when you might get 3/4 back if I feel like it!

Sounds like it should be funny, but could I trouble somebody to re-upload this to another imagehost? Sad

Yup funny comic, spoke what I felt too. If they really had most of the coins offline, it sounds quite fishy if they could only get 50% back.

Like MarkM, I'm tempted to start a bank/exchange too.. except I might be more greedy and just go with a 60% guaranteed deposit insurance Cheesy
