maybe it means going beyond project development and platform progress, neo is a good coin but it seems that at the moment it can't go beyond ethereum, ethereum is still the best altcoin, and if its position is taken then ethereum can return to that position

NEO seems to have gone and there is no way such coin can overtake an active coin, that has more mass adoption.
Apart from saying that it can surpass ETH, we should be more emphatic on restoring it back.

I think it will never happen. NEO is a good coin, but Ethereum is much better and if NEO could get around Ethereum, she would have done it already.

Everything is of course possible in the future, no one knows which alt will be in what place. Now NEO and their technologies are constantly improving and they are trying as best they can, while ethereum is doing the same thing, so it’s hard to say what will happen in the future, but I don’t think that NEO can create competition for ethereum for at least in a couple of years.
I do not think that even in the future NEO will be able to surpass Ethereum, as both Ethereum and NEO will become obsolete coins and it is more likely that there will be new coins that will quickly become leaders. I agree the world of crypto currency is developing very quickly, now the coins that are on their capitalization I think will gradually lose their places but in their place will come more advanced coins |

Neo and ETH all have seperate position themself. Maybe in the future, the capitalization of Neo will overcome ETH but I think the safety of system and community of Neo can not overcome ETH.

I like NEO project. I think this project has a great future. But I will never believe in the fact that NEO can become better than ETH.
It's great that you like NEO, too bad its actual creators don't, and the technical people that were supposed to make it viable are all quitting. It's all but over for NEO. |

Can certainly do better, but Ethereum itself dies quietly due to the fact that the ICO explosion has already passed and the product will not be in great demand in the future! I think so |

I will not give an assessment of whether Neo will be able to surpass Ethereum or not, since the cryptocurrency market is so unpredictable that it is very difficult to judge what will happen in this market tomorrow. But in General, the Neo project itself attracts me as a long-term investment. It is likely that in the future the coin will be able to bring a good profit. |

NEO will need to make great efforts to overcome ETH. NEO is really a good altcoin but it is still not enough to influence and cannot get a good position like ETH. Best of all, we should invest in ETH. because the results showed that ETH is still more potential altcoin than NEO. ETH retained its second position and the NEO was dropped to 18th place.  |

maybe they think everything will happen so say like that. NEO and Ethereum are good and very profitable coins so fans of both coins can compete with their potential.
if the NEO exceeds Ethereum in my opinion it is difficult even though there is a small possibility, because Ethereum is the best Altcoin and many use the Ethereum platform. small possibilities occur in the future because the future is increasingly sophisticated and that can happen.

At the moment of start of your topic there was such probability, but now it doesn't seem to me a good idea. To ,my mind ontology has more chances to surpass Neo and as long as it is more potential than Neo, then I would compate Ontology with ethereum!

Saw this post long ago but I waited to reply it. I like your view, people give giving postualtions when they bag a coin, especially comparisons that make no sense. Why compare ETH and NEO by saying NEO will surpass ETH, we should focus on quality of projects and adoption rather than price speculations.

I know that the status of Ethereum is very dangerous. Countless tokens claim to go beyond Ethereum, but I think this is very difficult. Who will become the token next to Bitcoin in the future is not yet known. But I don't think ENO can go beyond Ethereum.

I am fully confident that today NEO retains the status of one of the most reliable and favorite options for altcoins for profitable investments. Next year there are all prerequisites for the rapid development and price increase of NEO. Maybe in a dream world? from what we see soo far a lot of hype and very little progress in the last year:
no meaningful partnership, dapps, exchanges or anything? we also had problems in the blockchain itself and wallets development has been so slow
not sure how is going to be 2019, hope some nice clear roadmap to come out

NEO does not have much reliability in its protocol. But the liquidity of this coin is quite high. I will not invest in NEO. |
