Litecoin Share/LTC-day Algorithm

Hello, Guys.

I wanted to know a little about the LTC algorithm


Which is the calculation, used to determine the time spent per block ?

Also, which would be the calculation to determine the Kilohashes/second per worker ?
I saw in simplecoin it did something like : ((shares*2^32)/600)/10^6), but I suspect this is for BTC, while for litecoin it would be something similar to :
(((shares*2^16~19)/600)/10^3) ? Or would I be wrong ?
