I'm looking for offers on one of my November KNCMiner Jupiters. I've got more arriving monday, and I also want to get preorders in for the next edition (Neptune). I'd like to ship this one out (or deliver it) monday.

This is a perfect running machine. It has been hashing at a steady 660-670 GH/s since I got it and has no dead dies or voltage issues.

I will include the EVGA Supernova 1300w power supply that has been running it and the startup jumper, all you will have to do is plug it in and enter your pool information.

This is the fastest machine currently available. Don't waste your money buying slower hardware or making a preorder from a company without a proven track record! Tuning software expected to be released soon by KNC should bump this machine up to 700+ GH/s

Buyer in USA will get overnight UPS shipping free, if you want to insure it at sale value it will be $200 more. It will be packaged much better than it was when shipped from Sweden to me! If you want to pay cash, I can meet in person in southern oregon or northern california same day, but a 1 btc deposit will be necessary if I need to drive hours to meet you. International buyers will need to contact me for a shipping rate, I'm sure it won't be much more.

Since october jupiters are selling on ebay for 22-25k right now, this would be worth more there. It will go to ebay if I don't find a buyer here, I have 12+ years of perfect feedback on ebay.

Payment will be by cash, bank wire transfer or BTC. I'll accept escrow from johnK or another highly verified member, but international shipments will have to pay half direct payment up front / half escrow.

Asking price is $25000 OBO.  Price in BTC will be the equivalent cost of the deal price in USD at coinbase when we make the deal. At the time of posting this it would be $780/btc or 32 BTC. Sorry, but bitcoin price has plummeted 35-50% since a few days ago and is very volatile right now.

Before thread crapping this, consider that a "possibly" shipping 500 gh/s unit from BFL costs 22,500. Ebay prices on Jupiters are about the same as this, and this one is a strong running november unit. Also, I don't care. If you don't want to buy it or don't like the price, move on. This is the going market rate for this machine.

Again, this price is OBO. If you want to get into mining, or add another machine to your arsenal, PM me your offers.

I think that says it all, here are some pics!

Thanks!

Then sell it on eBay.  You should know on here its worth BTC as it mines BTC.  USD/BTC is irrelevant.

Jups have been going for 14-16BTC, with the diff increase in 3 days prices will drop 12-14... Of course Novembers are a little faster so perhaps a coin more.

you don't seem to be aware that jupiters' glorious days of asking insane amount of coins are over... Grin so you want 32 coins for this? LOL... for that amount i can get 1.4th shipped the next day, delivered in 3 days... so yeah i think you're wasting your time here just sell to the suckers on ebay...

Look at all the people who can read! Is it just impossible for people to not thread crap here? I said obo, and people on eBay are also here. I saw offers of 18 btc for a November unit a few days ago when the exchange price was $1200, and from what I can tell they got a better offer. Despite your claims, the exchange price of btc to usd does matter, since a buyer could just pop over to an exchange and pay that amount to get coins to send.

Where can I get 1.4 th right now for any sort of payment?

12 BTC shipped to NY. Good luck finding anyone willing to pay 32 BTC. Cheesy

And keep in mind eBay prices are inflated because YOU pay 10% Final Value Fee to eBay, and another 5% to Paypal to hold your money for up to 3 weeks for no useful reason. This is especially true for a huge amount like this even with perfect feedback.

And finally, there is a decent chance you might have to pay taxes on the sale in April since eBay/Paypal have to report stuff to the IRS. Has anyone run into this issue before?

A little over the top with your estimates on eBay there. Max selling final value fee is $250. I pay paypal 2.7% and have zero delay on money as I run lots through them a year. You don't pay taxes "on a sale" you report it as income, or if you move things around correctly, you delay that as an investment and use it to continue to fund investments. However, this isn't Econ 1. Offers less than previous offers will not be considered! Thanks though.

I'm not going to crap on your thread ( but did think about it )

Instead I'm going to ask ... Is your price based on a realistic value or did you see it on eBay and get greedy ?

It's a starting point based on the continual going prices for jupiter units on ebay. Do a search, look at the successful listings (sold).
Here's a list of the prices of listings that successfully sold. 22k, 14.5k, 18k, 19.2k, 25k, 37.7k for 2, 25k, 23k, 25.6k, 25k, 25.5k, 25k, 27k, 27k, 32k, 15k, 25k, 22k.
That's all just in the last two weeks. Most of those were the much slower (~25%) october jupiters.
That would be a realistic value.

you just proved yourself that you didn't make enough effort to research prices and followed what you saw on ebay...  Grin also why should i tell you where to get cheaper miners it's not like you're going to match that price and i'm not done buying more miners... heck even bitfury rigs are going for much less than your asking price...

It's funny how slow people are on this forum. What do you think price research is? I have an asking price which is in line for the going rate of these. Pretty simple, I know some of you think that some money is worth a different special amount than other money, but it really isn't.

Ok and to that i say ...

1 this isnt ebay
2 people here actually know what they are worth and dont run to other mediums ( EBAY ) hoping to rip off some unsuspecting sucker who read about bitoins on the net.
3 this was also during the last round of Hype do to bitcoin hitting 1k+
lastly lets be honest here if you thought you could continue to make a profit with the difficulty rising pretty fast you wouldn't be trying to unload it to buy faster equipment as its been pointed out repeatedly in this thread you can get faster cheaper why on earth would someone here overpay? if you think your going to get 25k for it on ebay then you would be selling it there, and while your really quick to point out what people paid on ebay (Mind you at its peak during this last bubble) you didnt point out how many of those were 1 scams 2 non paying or 3 just flat out no bids. I'm sure those number stack up pretty damn well. I've been following a guy on ebay who every 3 weeks like clockwork puts a miner on ebay it gets sold but to date not one feedback... in fact his highest feed back was for selling a cd to someone for 9 dollars and you expect me to believe someone leaves feedback for a 9 dollar cd but not for a 25k piece of equipment.

How about this, if you aren't interested, don't post in my thread! I'm leaving it open for offers, not for criticism I don't care about. I've had people HERE offering 16k, 18 btc. Just waiting to see if I get a higher offer before I sell.

You know it doesn't work like that on a community forum. If you post something here that is ridiculous you should be expected to be called on it.

Most forums are moderated somewhat and don't let people crap on everything they see. It's not a ridiculous price, since it is similar to what people are paying for them and I said OBO.

This forum is the wild west my friend. You'll just as easily be crapped on as praised. Don't take it personal, but some people here will play reverse psychology in order to get you to drive down your price. However, having said that I found that for the most part people here know how to use earnings calculators so you'll receive pretty much reasonable offers (with the exception of deernutz, he's just nuts with his 4 btc offer lol)

I too am tempted to put my bid in the hat, but I am starting to think that these units are a losing bet as soon more hashing power will hit the network and I'd be lucky to get my btc back from it. Next diff adjustment it might make 10 btc per month, the next probably 7 or worse. So if someone gives you anything beyond 15 btc for this they've got bigger balls than brains.

Good luck to your sale nonetheless.
