Is there a specific reason why you call your coin Bitcoin Origin? Also did you do any improvements to the code by yourself?

Yes we have important upgrades coming to BitcoinOrigin. Please check out our site. Join our Telegram channel for more information

Is there a chance to reveal more information on who is "we" in your team? Not much information on your website  Sad

Hi there. This is the link for the team https://www.bitcoinorigin.io/#team

A friend told me about this the other day and I was super interested in finding out more on it. When I saw the whole 'Penta-fork' idea I got confused though. Are they going to take the benefits from the 5 coins or are they literally forking off of 5 different coins simultaneously? What's your take on this 'fork'? Smiley

Hold on... I've been looking at https://www.bitcoinorigin.io which looks like the proper one... This http://bitcoinorigin.org/ website doesn't look legit... There is no team, no whitepaper, no information whatsoever, and the telegram group only has 9 members in it, it's actually making me very nervous... My friend said that the telegram group (that she is also part of) has around 45,000 member when she looked this Monday. Who is the admin or team for this?

It is most likely not legit. It sounds silly, but in most cases you can even tell it from the name of the coin. This is also a very stupid name and the devs can't be much smarter.

How can you tell whether a project is a scam or not just from the name of the coin? That seems like quite a pre-school way of analyzing a project. Do you have facts/figures to back that up? Then we can have a chat about what defines a scam or doesn't.

It is certainly not the only metric I take into account when judging a coin, but honestly, I am sure if we really do the analyze on whether or not a coin is a scam by just looking at the name, I think you would be astonished. I know one thing for sure: a smart person wouldn't call their coin Bitcoin Origin. Roger Ver with Bitcoin Cash - makes (some) sense. Bitcoin Private - makes some sense. Bitcoin Origin - erm, no.
