Hi, I have been carrying out research on setting up a scrypt mining rig. I am looking to starting with 7 gpu. But I really can't get a good under standing on the setup. I hear stuffs like psu, external power for the card, more ram for the card etc.

Will appreciate it if anyone can just break it down in bits.

Thanks.

Have you made a list with the components already?

This is a Bitcoin forum, which doesn't use scrypt.   Try posting in the Alternative Coins sub-forum, or on the litcointalk forum.  Then you might be vaguely on-topic.

The idea is that you do a lot more reading, before trying a 7 GPU setup. And then ask more specific questions. Otherwise,  your chances of success are slim to none.

Thanks. I guess I will have to research deeper so I don't spend unneccessarily.
